Mariel denies rumored spat between Robin, Zanjoe
MANILA, Philippines - Television host Mariel Rodriguez belied the rumor that her husband actor Robin Padilla confronted Zanjoe Marudo during the recent Star Magic ball.
According to an entertainment website, the incident was reportedly triggered after Padilla got offended by a skit done by Marudo and Vhong Navarro.
“I don’t know if I should comment on that pero one thing is for sure. Hindi si Robin sumugod sa Star Magic ball. Hindi siya at all sumugod. Wala siyang intensyon na makipag-away whatsoever,” she clarified during an interview with ABS-CBN’s “E-Live” on Saturday.
According to Rodriguez, as far as she knows, Padilla and Marudo have no existing spat. In fact, she said, the two men even had a friendly conversation just a few days ago.
She elaborated, “Nag-usap sila dito, nung Tuesday. Hindi ko talaga alam ha about that kasi nung time na ‘yon si Robin gusto niya if there’s anything Zanjoe would like to tell Robin, Zanjoe should feel free to be able to tell it to Robin.”
