The gist: Electronic Arts’ sci-fi horror sequel starts the year with doom and gloom. There are superb special effects in store, however, so not all depressing. It is three years after the Necromorph virus transformed the crew of the Ishimura space ship into cannibalistic mutants. Our unwilling but capable hero Isaac Clarke awakes in a space-colony hospital to find, yet again, that all is not well.
The gameplay: New weapons and a wider variety of protective suits help Isaac to tidy up this mess. He can use his environment to battle the Necromorphs, the vacuum of space can swiftly evacuate a room full of enemies. On top of that, Isaac uses telekinesis to control objects with his mind.
